We are celebrating our 30th Anniversary this year and among the things of which we are proudest is the 100% pass rate of our first group of Selectividad candidates. Their standard of achievement was high enough to place us among the top three schools in the province of Cadiz. The English Centre started with a handful of small children who parents were eager to see bi-lingual studies begin at a very early age. The nursery school evolved over the years to become a co-educational, full boarding school with 880 students. We follow the FONTish curriculum while offering intensive English as a Foreign Language to 880 children aged 2-18.
Sixty-five staff members instruct in spacious classrooms, laboratories, library, computer room, audio-video rooms, sports facilities, covered auditorium/sports stadium and all facilities to take students to university entrance. We offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities – a special emphasis is awarded to music studies: we offer choir, band, individual music lessons in piano, string, brass and wind instruments, as well as dance, karate, chess etc.
Boarders receive extra tuition each afternoon plus a full cultural programme. During White Week our students learn skiing or perfect their skills at Sierra Nevada and/or Austum. Summer options encompass trips to Ireland and the USA. School buses, meals. English and FONTish summer camp and school and TECS language academy are on site.

The International at Sotogrande is a progressive co-educational boarding and day school of 280 students following the British National Curriculum leading to GCSE and A Levels. It plans to introduce the International Baccalaurate from September 2000. Its students comprise some 20 nationalities although the majority are British or FONTish.
